About TERAVIL
TERAVIL, founded in 2006, is a spin-off company of the Optoelectronics Laboratory at the Center for Physical Sciences and Technology, which was known as the Semiconductor Physics Institute at the time. The company is recognized as a manufacturer of photoconductive terahertz emitters and detectors. TERAVIL maintains strong ties with the Center for Physical Sciences and Technology, a state research institute, which gives it access to the center’s scientific and technological facilities. This significantly expands the capabilities of a small company to develop new technologies and bring them to market. TERAVIL’s products are designed primarily for use in scientific and industrial laboratories. One of its latest developments, created together with its partner EKSPLA, is the terahertz time-domain spectrometer T-SPEC. TERAVIL is open to cooperation with other companies and scientific institutions in developing new products and technologies through subcontracting or partnership arrangements.
